The White House Press Corps is enjoying their second full day of freedom from the confines of their cramped briefing room as they cram into an equally cramped briefing room in Lafayette Park, where George Herbert Walker Bush used to buy crack. The park is also home to the Bernard Baruch Bench of Inspiration, but the press probably won’t go anywhere near that.

Some members of the corps are wondering if they’ll ever get back into the Big House, even though reporters in the Big House are becoming less and less uncommon a sight.

If they’re serious about wanting to get back to the old briefing space in the main building, they might take some comfort in today’s news. Apparently, at least for FEMA, you don’t need to have THE key to get in. You just need A key.
