My friends at Travelzoo want me to do their marketing for them for free! (Looks like they get what they want…). They’re telling me that if I name names, they’ll give me the chance to compete in a random drawing for “miles,” which is the same as money — $5,000 if you’re not a member of the Starwood alliance or something.
Anyway, as you probably realize, you never EVER have to do what they tell you in order to win what they aren’t really giving away (Statistically, nobody wins. But technically, one person does. That could be you….).
2. How to Play
Participants in the Game are subscribers of the Newsletter during the Game Period who refer at least ONE (1) new subscriber, who has not been a subscriber to the Travelzoo Top 20 within the last 6 months, to the Newsletter via http://sweepstakes.travelzoo.com, or new registered subscribers of the Newsletter who are entered in the sweepstakes by signing up to receive the Newsletter at http://www.travelzoo.com/Signup.asp but may opt-out by removing their entry via the Web site at http://www.travelzoo.com/profiles. Newsletter subscription is free. LIMIT: Each Participant can receive only ONE (1) entry in the sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, illegible, or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified; for failed, partial or garbled computer transmissions; for technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to electronic malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software; or for any error, human, technical or otherwise. Alternative method to enter without referring a friend: hand-print your name, address, city, state, zip, day and evening phone numbers, your e-mail address which is subscribed to Travelzoo’s Top 20 newsletter, and the words “250,000 Frequent Flyer Miles (November 06 Edition)” Sweepstakes on a 3″ x 5″ card, and mail it in a stamped #10 envelope to: Travelzoo Inc., c/o “250,000 Frequent Flyer Miles (November 06 Edition) Sweepstakes”, 200 S. Wacker Dr, Suite 3100, Chicago, IL 60606. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by November 20, 2006 and received by November 29, 2006. Only one entry per valid e-mail address will be accepted. Check out the alternative way to enter. Looks like you might need to be registered with them already, but it’s free to do that. So if you want all those miles, go ahead and send a 3″x5″ card (yup) in a special #10 envelope to the good people at Travelzoo on Wacker Drive in Chicago. Good luck.
